Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in legal settings. Her publications are numerous and she has been awarded numerous grants, and has been the winner of many honors international and national levels. She has worked with various organizations and government officials across the globe on policy as well as research on child victims in the legal system. She also serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional organizations, such as The Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
